• Scriptures:

We believe the Holy Bible, from Genesis through Revelation, to be the inspired Word of God, without any error, it is the all-sufficient authority in matters of faith, doctrine and Christian living.

    2 Timothy 1:13;3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21

  • God:

We believe in one God, eternally existing as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, three distinct personal attributes but without division of nature, essence or being.

    Genesis 1:1,26-27,3:22; Matthew 28:19

  • Jesus:

We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ and that He is completely God and completely man yet without sin. He was crucified and died on the cross to pay the full price of the sins of mankind. He bodily arose from the dead and ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of God the Father and is now our High Priest and Advocate.

    John 1:1-5, 14:10-30; I Corinthians 15:3-4

  • Holy Spirit:

We believe that the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, was sent into the world by the Father and the Son to apply to mankind the saving work of Christ. We believe that He enlightens the minds of sinners, awakens in them recognition of their need for a Savior and regenerates them. We believe that, at the point of salvation, He permanently indwells every believer, in order to become the source of assurance, strength, and wisdom, and uniquely endows each believer with gifts for ministry. We believe that the Holy Spirit guides believers in understanding and applying the Scripture. We believe that His power and control are appropriated by faith, making it possible for the believer to lead a life of Christ-like character and to bear fruit to the glory of the Father.

    John 14:16-17,26; 15:26-27; 16:8-11,13; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 2:9-14; 6:19-20; Hebrews 9:14

  • Man:

We believe that man was created in the image of God and in the beginning was innocent of sin and endowed by the Creator with freedom of choice. By man’s free choice he chose to sin against God thus causing all of mankind to be born into sin, therefore condemning man to death. This death is first physical and if man is left in this state will result in eternal separation from God in hell. Genesis 1:22; Romans 3:23

  • Salvation:

We believe that God’s free gift of salvation is given to those who, apart from any work on their own, place their complete faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That anyone who will do this will receive God’s gracious New Life (salvation) and live eternally in Heaven with Him.

    Romans 3:23-24, 5:1, 6:23, 10:9-10 &13; Ephesians 2:8-9

  • Church:

We believe in a church membership that is a part of the worldwide Christian family, known as the body of Christ in scripture, which is comprised of all persons old enough to understand their need for Jesus Christ and who, of their own free will, have accepted Him as their personal Lord and Savior.

    I Corinthians 12:12-31

  • Ordinances:

We believe that baptism is by immersion and the Lord’s Supper which is offered to all who have been scripturally saved, is a memorial to His suffering and death on the cross and a celebration of the New Life He has given us by paying the price for our sin. These are ordinances to be observed by the church in its present age. They are however, not to be regarded as means for man’s salvation.

    Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-32

  • Return of the Lord:

We believe in the personal, bodily, imminent and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His Church and that this should inspire believers toward dynamic and zealous service for Him until He returns.

    I Thessalonians 4:13-18

  • Resurrection:

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, resulting in the eternal blessedness of the saved in heaven and the everlasting punishment and separation from God of the unsaved in hell.

    John 3:16; 5:24; Revelation 20:15

  • Christian Life:

We believe that every Christian should live for Christ and not for himself.  By obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer should mature and become more like Jesus Christ.

    Acts 2:41, 19:4-5; Ephesians 4:13-15

  • The Family:

We believe that the family is composed of persons that are related to one another by marriage, blood, or adoption, and is ordained by God as the foundational institution of human society.

Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. Marriage provides the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual expression according to biblical standards, the means for procreation, and reveals the union between Christ and His church.

Since both the husband and wife are created in God's image, they are both of equal worth and model the way God relates to His people.

Children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord. Parents are to teach their children spiritual and moral values through living a consistent lifestyle example based on biblical truth, through loving discipline, and demonstrating God’s biblical pattern for marriage. Children are to honor and obey their parents.
    Genesis 1:26-28; 2:15-25; 3:1-20; Ephesians 5:21-33; 6:1-4
